Schuylkill Valley Family Adventure Race

Schuylkill Valley Family Adventure Race

“No, no! The adventures first, explanations take such a dreadful time.”

-Lewis Carroll, Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass

Bring your kids! Grab your parents! Siblings, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins are welcome too! Consider a new way to experience “family bonding,” and come join Rootstock Racing for the second annual Schuylkill Valley Family Adventure Race. Get a taste for adventure racing by taking to the woods with your team of family members.

Racers will have two hours to run and bike, using a map to navigate their way from point to point. This year’s course will also feature new age-appropriate special challenges, guaranteed to make you and your kids laugh harder than the latest viral video.

Teams must include at least one person in high school or younger. Everyone will be challenged to a fun and accessible course open to all ages. Racers can do as much or as little of the course as they choose. All participants who register before May 10 are guaranteed a race t-shirt. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in each category.

**Note that every checkpoint in the race is optional. Don’t feel like lugging your bikes out? No problem! You can just skip those sections.**
